2. Appointment enquiries
When you submit an enquiry, we process your name, email address, phone number, appointment address, requested date and time, optional social-media handle, selected service and message. This information is used to respond to your request, prepare an offer and arrange your appointment. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Enquiries are normally deleted six months after the enquiry or the last related communication. If the enquiry leads to a booking or contract, relevant information may be retained longer where needed for the appointment, a legal claim or a statutory retention obligation.
3. Email delivery
A notification copy of each enquiry is sent to Afora Beauty using the email-delivery provider Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.). The data is processed to deliver and answer the enquiry on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Where data is processed outside the European Economic Area, the applicable data-protection safeguards are used.
4. Client reviews
If you submit a review, we process the name, email address and review text you provide. Your email address remains private. Your name and review are published only after approval and with your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Unpublished review submissions are deleted after one month. Published reviews remain online until consent is withdrawn or deletion is requested.
5. WhatsApp
WhatsApp is used only when you choose to open a WhatsApp link. WhatsApp or Meta may then process data under their own privacy terms. No WhatsApp content is embedded automatically on this website.
6. Cookies and analytics
The public website does not currently use advertising pixels, analytics tools or non-essential marketing cookies. The protected administration area may use a technically necessary session cookie for the website owner.
7. Your rights
Subject to the legal requirements, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. You may withdraw consent at any time for the future. To exercise these rights, contact [email protected].
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority. The competent authority is the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen, Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, www.ldi.nrw.de.

This privacy policy will be updated if the website’s services or data-processing activities change.
